Who is Jud Hampson anyway?
One of my clear memories from high school was that the status quo is pretty dangerous for the planet and our species. Nearly twenty years later progress has been made in some areas but I still believe we have a long way to go. This has inspired me to think deeply about what I will do to contribute. For a number of years I have looked at my own life and tried to identify ways to reduce my impact and give something back. This has lead to changes in employment, location, transportation and hobbies just to name a few. My ongoing inspiration for personal development and contribution to society is my wife and two children. I get a buzz out of cycling and enjoy learning about sustainability-related topics such as energy efficiency, permaculture and human rights.
